At Southern New Mexico Cancer Center, Las Cruces we are committed to making your first visit to our cancer treatment center a smooth and comfortable experience. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed into our extended family of cancer care professionals. We will treat you with compassion and dignity as we familiarize you with our staff, procedures and facilities.
Scheduling an Appointment:
You may schedule your appointment with Southern New Mexico Cancer Center by calling 575-556-8600.
Before calling to schedule your first appointment with us, please check whether your health insurance provider requires a referral from a primary care physician as a condition for your seeing a cancer specialist. If so, please ask your primary care physician to call us with a referral in advance of making an appointment.
When scheduling your first appointment, please have the following information available, most of which is on your member identification card:
- Name of your insurance company
- Plan number
- Policy number
- Claims-related contact information
Upon receipt of this information, we will verify your insurance coverage and benefits prior to your visit. We will also inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses that may be due upon your visit.

From Deming and Silver City: Traveling east on I-10, exit Motel Boulevard. (Highway 292/28). Turn north (left) on Motel Boulevard., heading toward Amador. Turn right on Amador; stay on Amador/Lohman, crossing over I-25, to Roadrunner Parkway. Turn left on Roadrunner Parkway. Southern New Mexico Cancer Center will be on the right, about 1/4 mile from Lohman.
From Alamogordo: Traveling west on Highway 70, exit Roadrunner Parkway. Turn left (south) and follow Roadrunner for approximately 3 miles. Southern New Mexico Cancer Center will be on the left.
From El Paso airport: Take Airway Boulevard from the airport to I-10 west. Traveling west on I-10, take I-25 north to Albuquerque, just a few miles outside of Las Cruces. Take the Lohman exit off I-25 and turn right (east) onto Lohman. Follow Lohman to the top of the hill at Roadrunner Parkway. Turn left onto Roadrunner. Southern New Mexico Cancer Center will be on the right about 1/4 mile from Lohman.
From T or C: Traveling south on I-25, exit Lohman. Turn left on Lohman. Follow Lohman to Roadrunner Parkway. Turn left onto Roadrunner. The cancer center will be on the right about 1/4 mile from Lohman.
From El Paso: Travel west on I-10, take I-25 north to Albuquerque, just a few miles outside of Las Cruces. Take the Lohman exit off I-25 and turn right (east) onto Lohman. Follow Lohman to the top of the hill at Roadrunner Parkway. Turn left onto Roadrunner. Southern New Mexico Cancer Center will be on the right about 1/4 mile from Lohman.
